We are actively seeking CNC Spring Coiling Machine Operators to develop a career with our Spring manufacturing Company. The candidates will be trained in innovative and multifaceted ways, to both setup and operate mechanical and CNC spring & wire forming machines. The candidate will be responsible for performing troubleshooting on machinery, doing changeovers, and operating their own machines.

This is a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and computer literate with the ability to use hand/power tools. Interested candidates should apply now to set up an immediate interview to hire.

ON THE JOB TRAINING will include:
   •    On a variety of shapes: Tapered; Dumbbell; Bell; Conical; Cylindrical
• The forming of both round and square wire of all sizes ranging from .003” thru .625”
• CNC servo-based wire bending containing 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 axis machines
• On machining of various cams, cutters, arbors, quills, and body tools associated with distinctive wire forming machines
• State of the art techniques in speed control setups to optimize productivity
• Proper heat treating and stress relieving of both tooling and formed parts
• Extensive education oriented towards the interpretation of blueprints and drawings
• Enhanced training in the ISO 9001:2015 policies of Ace Wire Spring & Form concerning all “In Process” and “Final” inspections utilizing the latest electronic testing machines and methods

CNC SPRING COILING MACHINE OPERATOR Responsibilities:
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

CNC SPRING COILING MACHINE OPERATOR Skills:
• Proven experience as a machine operator
• CNC / Machinist experience a plus
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• Integrity
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
